The Boston Celtics are acquiring guard Jaden Springer from the Philadelphia 76ers, ESPN reported Thursday.

Philadelphia will receive a second-round pick in exchange for Springer, per the report.

Springer, 21, averaged 4.0 points and 1.8 rebounds in 32 games (one start) for the 76ers this season.

In three NBA seasons — all with Philadelphia — Springer has averaged 3.4 points and 1.5 rebounds in 50 games (three starts). The Sixers selected him with the 28th overall pick in the 2021 draft.

ESPN also reported that Boston dealt guard Dalano Banton to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.

The Celtics are getting a heavily protected second-round pick for the 24-year-old Banton, who averaged 2.3 points and 1.5 boards in 24 games (one start) with Boston this season.

Banton spent his first two NBA seasons with the Toronto Raptors, appearing in 95 games (three starts).
