Steven Crowl had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 20 Wisconsin to a 62-54 home win over Ohio State on Tuesday in a Big Ten contest in Madison, Wis.

AJ Storr had 14 points and 12 rebounds and Tyler Wahl had 10 points and seven rebounds for Wisconsin (17-8, 9-5 Big Ten), which snapped a four-game losing streak.

Bruce Thornton had 18 points and five assists in defeat for Ohio State (14-11, 4-10), which has lost six of its last seven.

Wisconsin owned a 39-26 rebounding advantage and went 11 of 16 from the free-throw line compared to just 1 of 2 for Ohio State.

Wisconsin held a 43-26 lead with 15:42 remaining before Ohio State started to climb back into it, scoring 19 points in less than six minutes to cut Wisconsin's lead to 50-45 with 9:49 left.

A 3-pointer by Chucky Hepburn, which came after two offensive rebounds by Wisconsin, ended an 8-0 Ohio State run and gave Wisconsin a 53-45 lead with 9:08 remaining.

Ohio State went cold after that, scoring just two points as Wisconsin built its lead back up to 10 at 57-47 with 3:56 left.

Hepburn all but put the game away when he hit a 3-pointer with 51 seconds left to give the Badgers a 60-49 lead.

The game was close for most of the first half, with Wisconsin leading 20-19 with 5:16 remaining until halftime.

But the Badgers separated themselves from there, going on a 14-2 run over the final 4:31 of the first half to grab a 34-21 lead at halftime.

Max Klesmit scored eight points during that run, hitting a pair of shots from 3-point range.

Ohio State went just 9 of 26 from the field overall and 2 of 9 from 3-point territory in the first half.
