Cole Perfetti scored twice and picked up an assist and Connor Hellebuyck made 30 saves for the shutout on Tuesday as the Winnipeg Jets blanked the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets 5-0 for their seventh straight win.

The Jets extended their point streak to 13 games (11-0-2).

Brenden Dillon, Josh Morrissey and Gabe Vilardi also tallied for Winnipeg, while Adam Lowry registered two assists. Nikolaj Ehlers, Mark Scheifele, Dylan Samberg and Nate Schmidt each grabbed a single helper.

Daniil Tarasov stopped 18 pucks for Columbus.

Dillon scored the game's first goal, floating a soft shot that found its way behind Tarasov 3:12 into the game. Scheifele registered his 400th career assist on that goal.

The Jets then really began to showcase why they entered Tuesday as the first-place team in the NHL.

At the 10:50 mark of the second, they extended their advantage when Perfetti chipped in Samberg's pass from behind the net to make it 2-0.

The Jets kept on the pressure as Morrissey unleashed a bomb from the faceoff circle, at 14:03 of the second period.

Perfetti got his second goal of the game 3:34 into the third period; he capitalized on a series of turnovers by Columbus, making the Jackets pay with a wrist shot that beat Tarasov in tight once again.

With 13:27 remaining, Scheifele left the game after taking a deflected puck to the ear. He later returned to celebrate the win with his teammates.

The Jets got their fifth goal on the power play, with Vilardi scoring at 9:29.
