Women's Top 25: No. 5 UCLA pushes past No. 3 Colorado

No. 5 UCLA pulled away from a fourth-quarter tie with a 16-5 run and emerged with a 76-68 win over No. 3 Colorado on Friday in Boulder, Colo.

The result ended the Buffaloes' nine-game winning streak.

Kiki Rice's 3-pointer gave the Bruins (15-1, 4-1 Pac-12) a 63-60 lead with 4:38 to play, and UCLA was on top the rest of the way.

Lauren Betts scored five consecutive points to put UCLA up 70-62 with 1:42 left, and a subsequent 6-0 Bruins surge sealed the outcome.

Charisma Osborne led UCLA with 22 points, while Betts (20 points, 13 rebounds) and Angela Dugalic (11 points, 13 boards) each had a double-double.

Jaylyn Sherrod topped Colorado (15-2, 5-1) with 17 points. Frida Formann added 16 points, and Aaronette Vonleh and Quay Miller each scored 10 points.
