Ines Vieira made the game-tying layup with 1.5 seconds left in regulation and scored eight of her 12 points in overtime to lift No. 16 Utah to a 94-81 win over No. 2 UCLA on Monday in Salt Lake City.

Kennady McQueen led Utah (14-5, 4-3 Pac-12) with 21 points and nine rebounds, while Alissa Pili, Dasia Young and Matyson Wilke each added 16 points. The Utes went 23-for-24 at the free-throw line on their way to handing UCLA just its second loss of the season.

Gabriela Jaquez powered the Bruins (15-2, 4-2) with 21 points and six boards, while Kiki Rice had 16 points and seven rebounds but also lost eight turnovers. Charisma Osborne scored 14 points and Angela Dugalic added 10.

Utah led for most of the game, but UCLA put together a late 12-3 run that ended with four seconds remaining in regulation. Camryn Brown made a go-ahead layup with 54 seconds left, then made one free throw with four seconds to go but missed the second. Pili grabbed the rebound for Utah, setting up Vieira's game-tying baseline drive.

The Utes then dominated the Bruins 22-9 in overtime.
