Women's Top 25 roundup: Caitlin Clark, No. 5 Iowa top Nebraska

Caitlin Clark piled up 38 points, 10 rebounds and six assists to lead No. 5 Iowa over Nebraska 92-73 on Saturday afternoon in Iowa City, Iowa.

Clark, who shot 12-of-22 from the floor and 8-of-15 from 3-point range, also had two steals for the Hawkeyes (19-2, 8-1 Big Ten). Clark extended her streak to five consecutive games of hitting at least six 3-pointers. Iowa also got 16 points from Kate Martin and 12 points from Sydney Affolter.

Jaz Shelley powered the Cornhuskers (13-7, 5-4) with 19 points, while Alexis Markowski chipped in a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Iowa led by just five points at halftime, but pulled away by opening the third quarter with a 15-5 run, during which Clark contributed eight points and two assists. The Hawkeyes went on to lead by as many as 19 points as they shot 52.5 percent from the floor.

No. 4 Kansas State 67, BYU 65

Gisela Sanchez scored 18 points as the Wildcats outlasted the Cougars for their 14th straight win in Manhattan, Kan.

Kansas State (20-1, 9-0 Big 12) also got 14 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and four steals from Serena Sundell, and 10 points from Gabby Gregory.

Lauren Gustin powered the Cougars (12-9, 2-6) with 25 points and 21 rebounds.

No. 10 Texas 67, Cincinnati 50

Aaliyah Moore scored 16 points to help the Longhorns beat the Bearcats in Austin, Texas.

Texas (19-3, 6-3 Big 12) also got 13 points, nine rebounds and seven blocks from Taylor Jones, and 13 points and six boards from Shaylee Gonzales. Reagan Jackson and Ariel Jackson each scored 10 points for Cincinnati (10-9, 2-6).

The Longhorns played without leading scorer Madison Booker, who coach Vic Schaefer said is "day-to-day" with a hamstring injury she suffered in practice on Friday. She's averaging 15.1 points this season.

No. 17 Gonzaga 73, San Francisco 54

Yvonne Ejim tallied 21 points and 13 rebounds to help the Bulldogs rout the Dons in San Francisco, Calif.

In its 14th consecutive win, Gonzaga (20-2, 7-0 West Coast Conference) was also boosted by Eliza Hollingsworth's 20 points and Maud Huijbens' 12 points and 11 rebounds. Aya Keita led San Francisco (8-12, 4-3) with 14 points.

Gonzaga never trailed and outrebounded the Dons 48-28. The Bulldogs held San Francisco to 3-of-20 shooting from 3-point range and scored 19 assists off 12 turnovers by the Dons.

No. 24 West Virginia 84, Iowa State 78

JJ Quinerly netted a career-best 31 points to power the Mountaineers past the Cyclones in Morgantown, W.V.

Quinerly shot 11-of-23 from the floor and tallied six rebounds and five steals in the victory for West Virginia (17-2, 6-2 Big 12). The Mountaineers also got 14 points apiece from Kylee Blacksten and Lauren Fields, and 13 points and six assists from Jordan Harrison.

Audi Crooks led Iowa State (12-7, 6-3) with 25 points and 16 rebounds.
