CF Montreal acquired striker Matias Coccaro via permanent transfer from Argentina's CA Huracan on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old Uruguay international signed a three-year deal with options for 2027 and 2028.

Montreal used targeted allocation money to complete the deal. The transfer fee was not disclosed.

Coccaro collected 31 goals and seven assists in 110 games with CA Huracan in Argentina's first division.
