Baylor Scheierman recorded 26 points and 16 rebounds as No. 12 Creighton rolled to an 89-75 victory over No. 5 Marquette on Saturday afternoon in Omaha, Neb.

Scheierman made 8 of 17 shots overall, including 6 of 12 from 3-point range, as the Bluejays (22-8, 13-6 Big East) won for the sixth time in seven games. Ryan Kalkbrenner notched 19 points, while Trey Alexander added 18 to go along with 11 assists.

Kam Jones paced the short-handed Golden Eagles (22-7, 13-5) with 23 points. Marquette played without reigning Big East Player of the Year Tyler Kolek (oblique) and Oso Ighodaro (illness).

David Joplin matched a season high with 21 points and Stevie Mitchell set a season high with 15 for the Golden Eagles, who were outshot 54.1 percent to 46.9 percent overall.

No. 1 Houston 87, Oklahoma 85

Jamal Shead hit a put-back jumper in the final second to lift the Cougars over the Sooners in Norman, Okla.

Just moments after the Sooners had tied it, Shead chased down an offensive rebound off his own miss, turned and hit the shot with 0.4 seconds left. Houston (26-3, 13-3 Big 12) has won seven consecutive games and moved closer to securing a Big 12 regular-season title in its first season in the conference.

LJ Cryer led the Cougars with 23 points, J'Wan Roberts scored 20 and Shead added 14. Sam Godwin led the Sooners (19-10, 7-9) with 17 points, while Rivaldo Soares scored 16 and Le'Tre Darthard 15. Darthard hit five 3-pointers.

No. 2 Purdue 80, Michigan State 74

Zach Edey had 32 points and 11 rebounds and the Boilermakers clinched at least a share of the Big Ten regular-season title by defeating the Spartans in West Lafayette, Ind.

Braden Smith had 23 points and nine rebounds for Purdue (26-3, 15-3 Big Ten), while Fletcher Loyer added 15 points.

Tyson Walker had 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists for Michigan State (17-12, 9-9), which has lost three straight. Jaden Akins had 13 points, Malik Hall contributed 12 and Xavier Booker chipped in 11.

No. 4 Tennessee 81, No. 14 Alabama 74

The Volunteers put four scorers in double figures and again stifled the Crimson Tide's high-scoring attack to win in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and move into sole possession of first place in the Southeastern Conference.

Zakai Zeigler scored 18 points for Tennessee (23-6, 13-3 SEC), which has a one-game lead over Alabama (20-9, 12-4) and No. 18 South Carolina (24-5, 12-4). Tennessee can take another step toward clinching the SEC regular-season title and a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament with a victory Wednesday night at South Carolina.

Mark Sears scored 22 points to lead Alabama, while Aaron Estrada added 16 and eight rebounds. The Tide made just 23 of 60 field goal tries (38.3 percent) and 9 of 37 3-pointers (24.3 percent).

No. 6 Arizona 103, Oregon 83

Kylan Boswell scored a career-high 19 points, all in the first half, and Caleb Love, Pelle Larsson and Keshad Johnson each reached at least 20 points as the host Wildcats routed the Ducks at Tucson, Ariz.

Arizona (23-6, 14-4 Pac-12) has a half-game lead in the conference standings heading into the last week of the regular season. Love had 22 points while tying his season-high of seven assists.

Oregon (19-10, 11-7) was led by Jermaine Couisnard's 39 points, including 33 in the second half.

No. 8 Iowa State 60, UCF 52

Tre King poured in 16 points and the Cyclones dominated down the stretch, holding off the host Knights in a hard-fought game in Orlando, Fla.

The Cyclones (23-6, 12-4 Big 12) closed the game on an 11-2 run, holding the Knights (15-13, 6-10) to just two points and no field goals over the final 5:08. King threw down four dunks in the game, going 7-for-11 from the floor, as the Cyclones won their third consecutive game. Milan Momcilovic, Curtis Jones and Keshon Gilbert scored 11 points apiece.

UCF is 3-6 against ranked teams, with all three wins coming at home, but the Knights didn't have an answer for Iowa State down the stretch despite 13 points from Jaylin Sellers and 11 from Shemarri Allen. Darius Johnson added 10.

No. 15 Baylor 82, No. 7 Kansas 74

RayJ Dennis had 14 of his team-high 19 points in the second half as the host Bears knocked off the Jayhawks in Waco, Texas.

The Bears took sole possession of third place in the Big 12 Conference with two games remaining in the regular season. The early part of the game featured nine ties and 10 lead changes before Baylor seized control.

The Bears (21-8, 10-6 Big 12) got 18 points from Jayden Nunn, 17 from Yves Missi and 11 from Ja'Kobe Walter. Kansas (21-8, 9-7) now has seven conference losses for the first time in head coach Bill Self's 21-year career there. Hunter Dickinson and Kevin McCullar Jr. scored 20 points apiece for the Jayhawks.

No. 9 North Carolina 79, NC State 70

Harrison Ingram scored a season-high 22 points to help the host Tar Heels hold off the rival Wolfpack in Atlantic Coast Conference play at Chapel Hill, N.C.

North Carolina (23-6, 15-3 ACC) was also boosted by Elliott Cadeau's 15 points and seven assists, 14 points from RJ Davis and 13 points from Armando Bacot. Ingram shot 8 of 14 from the floor and also had six rebounds.

NC State (17-12, 9-9) — which is 3-5 since the start of February — squandered a chance to get an elusive Quadrant 1 victory that would have boosted its NCAA Tournament resume. Jayden Taylor had 22 points for the Wolfpack, while DJ Horne scored 20.

No. 10 Duke 73, Virginia 48

Kyle Filipowski scored 21 points and the Blue Devils overwhelmed the visiting Cavaliers in Durham, N.C.

Tyrese Proctor posted 15 points with three 3-point baskets and Mark Mitchell added 10 points as the Blue Devils (23-6, 14-4 ACC) stayed a game behind first-place North Carolina heading to the final week of the regular season.

Reece Beekman's 18 points and Isaac McKneely's 12 paced Virginia (21-9, 12-7), which has lost three of its last four games and four of six. In three of those games, the Cavaliers have surrendered at least 73 points.

No. 11 Auburn 78, Mississippi State 63

Johni Broome scored 17 points and the Tigers stifled the visiting Bulldogs in the first half of the Southeastern Conference victory.

Denver Jones added 15 points and Jaylin Williams and Chad Baker-Mazara scored 10 points each for Auburn (22-7, 11-5 SEC), which took the lead for good 21 seconds into the game and allowed just two field goals in the first 11:53 to take command.

Mississippi State (19-10, 8-8) found its offense in the second half, but couldn't get closer than eight points after halftime. Freshman Josh Hubbard, who had scored season highs of 32 points and 34 points in the Bulldogs' last two games, scored just three of his 23 points in the first half. Tolu Smith III finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

No. 13 Illinois 91, Wisconsin 83

Marcus Domask had 31 points and Terrence Shannon Jr. added 23 as the Illini pulled away late for a victory over the host Badgers in Madison.

Illinois (22-7, 13-5 Big Ten Conference) extended its winning streak to seven against Wisconsin, after the Badgers had won the previous 15 meetings.

Tyler Wahl had 20 points for Wisconsin (18-11, 10-8), which lost at home for just the third time in 16 games. Max Klesmit added 16 and Chucky Hepburn 15 for the Badgers, who have lost 7 of 9 after a 16-4 start and a No. 6 ranking.

No. 16 Kentucky 111, Arkansas 102

Antonio Reeves scored 22 points and D.J. Wagner added 19 as the host Wildcats notched a high-octane victory over the Razorbacks in Southeastern Conference play at Lexington, Ky.

Aaron Bradshaw and Rob Dillingham scored 15 points apiece and Zvonimir Ivisic had 12 points and nine rebounds for the Wildcats (21-8, 11-5 SEC), who won their third consecutive game. Reed Sheppard and Justin Edwards added 10 points for Kentucky, which topped 100 points for the sixth time this season.

Khalif Battle scored 34 points for Arkansas and has scored 112 over the past three games. Tramon Mark recorded 23 points and four steals, Jeremiah

Davenport added 14 points and Makhi Mitchell scored 13 for the Razorbacks (14-15, 5-11), who lost their second straight game.

No. 23 Gonzaga 70, No. 17 Saint Mary's 57

Graham Ike recorded 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to a convincing victory over the Gaels in Moraga, Calif.

Ryan Nembhard added 20 points and 10 assists as Gonzaga (24-6, 14-2 West Coast Conference) ended Saint Mary's national-best 16-game winning streak. Ben Gregg had 12 points for Gonzaga, which won its eighth straight game.

Aidan Mahaney scored 16 points for the Gaels (24-7, 15-1), which had clinched the outright WCC title with Thursday's victory over Pepperdine. The Gaels will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming conference tournament, and Gonzaga will be the No. 2 seed.

No. 18 South Carolina 82, No. 24 Florida 76

Meechie Johnson scored 25 points to help the Gamecocks rally to a victory over the Gators in a Southeastern Conference game in Columbia, S.C.

South Carolina (24-5, 12-4 SEC) trailed by 10 points twice in the second half but took its first lead since midway through the first on Johnson's layup with 5:05 remaining. The Gamecocks held on the rest of the way, outscoring the Gators 8-3 in the final minute.

Jacobi Wright scored 16 points, Collin Murray-Boyles collected 15 points and 11 rebounds and Ta'Lon Cooper added 11 points for South Carolina. Walter Clayton Jr. and Zyon Pullin led Florida (20-9, 10-6) with 20 and 18 points, respectively.

No. 19 Washington State 77, UCLA 65

Jaylen Wells scored 27 points to lead the Cougars to a victory over the Bruins at Pullman, Wash.

Washington State (23-7, 14-5 Pac-12) remains a half-game behind Arizona (23-6, 14-4) heading into the last week of the regular season. Washington State's 14 conference wins are its most since the 1982-83 season. Myles Rice added 18 points and four assists for the Cougars, who have won 10 of their last 11 games.

Dylan Andrews led UCLA (14-15, 9-9) with 21 points. Sebastian Mack and Lazar Stefanovic each had 11 points.

No. 25 South Florida 76, Charlotte 61

Chris Youngblood racked up 17 points and Kasean Pryor scored 16 points as the Bulls, who entered the Top 25 for the first time in program history earlier this week, defeated the host 49ers to clinch the American Athletic Conference regular-season title.

Selton Miguel added 13 points off the bench and Kobe Knox had 12 as the Bulls stretched their winning streak to 14 games. South Florida (22-5, 15-1 AAC) shot 48.2 percent from the floor and pulled in 15 offensive rebounds. This marks the first time the Bulls have captured a regular-season league title.

Lu'Cye Patterson's 17 points led Charlotte (17-11, 11-5), while Nik Graves had 12 and Dean Reiber 11. The 49ers couldn't overcome their 40.4 percent shooting from the floor. They made just 5 of 18 shots from 3-point range.
